Founded in 2013 in the beautiful Cowichan Valley, Ignition Motorsports is a family-owned business driven by passion and dedication to the motorsports community. Owned by husband and wife duo Sam and Jen Beswick, our shop in Duncan was born out of a love for motorcycles and a desire to share that passion with fellow enthusiasts.

From the very beginning, we have aimed to create a welcoming space for riders of all levels. Over the years, we've grown into a comprehensive shop equipped to meet all your motorcycle needs, thanks to our talented service and sales teams. Whether you're gearing up for a track day or looking to enhance your ride, we invite you to stop by and meet our amazing team.

Sam's journey in motorsports started at a young age, riding dirt bikes before purchasing his first sportbike at just 16. Since then, he has devoted countless hours on racetracks across the western United States, honing his skills and competing at various levels. As a Red Seal motorcycle technician and holder of national motorcycle and car racing licenses, Sam has trained alongside and competed against many current MotoAmerica, AMA Flat Track, and AMA Supermoto riders. With an impressive track record of over 3,000 laps at VIMC alone, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the shop.

Today, Sam's passion extends to karting, where he continues to explore new avenues of motorsport. Together, Sam and Jen are committed to providing top-notch service and support to our customers, ensuring that every rider can enjoy the thrill of the ride.
